Components and operation of Processor-Controlled Test

Please see PCT In Depth - Hardware Components for a general description of the PCT stand-alone and fixtured solutions. The model numbers below refer to stand-alone units. The I/O Emulation Unit is an optional item that can be used with all PCT models.

Test Access

Test access is via the Intel specified debug port and a signal buffer (supplied). A top-side probe will be required when no on-board debug port or test points are provided.

Ordering Information

Processor-Controlled Test (PCT) 3041 software and hardware have separate product codes. The reason for this is that 3 different versions of the software are available: PCT 3041 Test Development Station; PCT 3041 Diagnostic & Repair Station; PCT 3041 Manufacturing Station. The product codes given below are for Single User licenses. If you would prefer to obtain a Network Campus (site) license or an even more flexible Network WorldWide license, please ask an ASSET representative for the appropriate codes.

The PCI200-EJ Controller and Pod hardware, PCI-200EJ Hardware Kit with Pod II or RIC-1000 with Pod II hardware listed below can be used with all software versions.
